Everyone's invited along to a coffee morning at the Lochgelly Centre on Wednesday 5 November from 10am-1pm to celebrate and ask questions about adoption.
Fife Council's Permanence Resource Team along with current adopters, adoptees and birth families are holding the event to mark Adoption Week 2025, which starts next week (Monday 3 November).
People can pop in for a cuppa and cake to learn all about what it is like adopting a child with Fife Council as an adoption agency, the adoption process, how it positively affects children and young people, support adopters and birth parents receive from the council and each other, and interactions with birth families.
Offering a child a home for life is one of the biggest and most life-changing decisions you can make, and, by choosing to adopt, you are offering a child a stable, secure and loving permanent home.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
