The R&A World Golf Museum’s immersive galleries bring the past, present and future of golf to life around you. Thousands of fascinating objects reveal hidden stories of the game and personalities. Explore over 400 years of golf’s history on your tour of our outstanding sporting collection, rooted in St Andrews, recognised worldwide as the home of golf. Connect with the medieval origins of the game and discover its global development through golf’s earliest societies, evolving equipment, groundbreaking fashion and world-class championships – including golf’s oldest major, The Open.

There's lots to enjoy at this 5 star experience: discover engaging exhibitions and events, play in our Learning Room, and dress-up before holing a putt on our green.

Visit the Shop and, just yards from the first tee of the iconic Old Course, dine surrounded by views of The Royal and Ancient Clubhouse and historic Links in our rooftop restaurant, The Niblick.
