About Cowdenbeath Community Theatre: Treasure Island
The story is set in the 18th century and follows the young protagonist Jim Hawkins, who lives at his parents’ inn, the Admiral Benbow, where he discovers a treasure map, belonging to an old sea captain named Billy Bones, who died in the Inn. He then embarks on a perilous journey in search of buried treasure.
