A musical celebration of Judy Garland & Liza Minnelli
Over The Rainbow is a truly charming show celebrating the wonderful music and careers of Judy Garland and her daughter Liza Minnelli, including all of Judy and Liza’s most memorable songs.
These nostalgic melodies are performed by two of the UK’s finest vocal talents supported by a team of dancers and includes vintage film projection making this a very special show.
Over The Rainbow pays homage to Judy Garland’s most famous ‘live’ performances; the performance at Carnegie Hall in 1961 and her residency at The Talk of the Town nightclub, London in 1968 now known as the Hippodrome Casino. In addition we of course pay tribute to her most iconic role – Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz!
The show also includes a tribute to Liza Minnelli’s Oscar winning performance in Cabaret and descriptive stories that made this mother and daughter duo, the stars of Hollywood!
Over The Rainbow does not mimic the sound and movements of these two Hollywood icons. Instead it is a fan’s tribute to the fantastic songs and the memories that these two iconic ladies have left behind for many generations to continue to enjoy.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
