Think lawn bowls are not for you? Read on…. According to the NHS Lawn Bowls can be “just as effective as high-impact activities like running when it comes to reducing the risk of heart disease”. Bowls are suitable for all abilities, can improve your physical and mental health , you can make new friends and have fun outdoors - whatever your reason why not come along and give it a try.
We are also actively seeking new members. If you can’t make our Try Bowls event why not come along on a Monday evening and have a go. We have a Hat Night on a Monday Night, be there around 6:30 pm to get ready for a 7 pm start. These are informal, fun games with club members. The Hat Nights run every Monday between 7th April and the beginning of October. Don't worry if you don't know anything about lawn bowls as our friendly members are always on hand to provide help and support as required.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
