Join local tree grower Elana Bader from Darroch Nurseries on 5th October to learn about how we can help grow the next generation of native trees in Scotland!
We will go for a walk through Formonthills Woodland to meet some of our tree friends in person, and see how we work with nature to grow future "Granny trees." You will get a feel for how to spot some of our most common native trees and we’ll go over the basics of growing new seedlings from different kinds of tree seeds.
By the end, you'll have enough know-how to safely and responsibly collect seeds yourself and maybe even give growing some trees on your farm or for your community a go.
No experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm and love for the outdoors!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
