Join us for an evening exploring different funding models that can provide long-term support for community-led projects involving climate action and nature restoration. This is a chance to learn about alternatives to short-term, often restrictive grants that can make community-led development challenging. We will also look at what kind of decision-making structures & models can be used to explore how to priories and allocate funding.
The evening will begin with inspiring talks by a panel of people who are exploring alternative models and/or have experience setting them up. This will be followed by an interactive workshop where participants can learn more about these models and explore how these approaches could work in their own communities.
This event is jointly organised by Tayside Bioregioning and the Leven Catchment Collective. For more information about Tayside Bioregion, follow this link: bioregioningtayside.scot/
It is part of the Leven Catchment Collective ‘taster events’, designed to give a preview of the types of events, skill-shares, and capacity-building opportunities available to community initiatives & farmers through the Leven Catchment Collective.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
