Join 3R Craft Group at St. Luke for two hands-on craft events that prove sustainability can be simple, creative, and fun! Hosted by the R Craft Group—a welcoming community for individuals with special needs—these workshops are designed to spark imagination while showing how everyday items can be transformed into practical treasures for the home.
Workshop 2 on 1st October: “Tin Can Bloom – Herb Planters for Your Windowsill”. Empty food tins become colourful planters in this sensory-friendly gardening project. Participants will decorate and plant herbs that bring fresh scents and flavours to kitchen windowsills—creating a mini garden to enjoy all winter long. We’ll also chat about the health benefits of herbs and how to care for them.
Why It’s Worth Joining These activities are designed with accessibility in mind, offering a safe and relaxed space for creativity and connection. Along the way, we’ll explore the benefits of upcycling, reducing waste, and making small changes that add up to a big impact.

All special needs have to be accompanied by carers.
