Join us on 4 October for A Wee Day Oot at Lochore Meadows – a full day of free, family-friendly fun celebrating community, connection, and climate action.
The Wee Day Oot is the action-packed headline event for this year’s month-long Fife Climate Festival, (20 September – 19 October).
Taking place at Lochore Meadows Country Park – a place shaped by coal mining and community spirit – the event reflects on Fife’s proud industrial past while celebrating the resilience and creativity of its people. Once the heartland of the coalfields, this landscape have been transformed into green, thriving spaces for all, showing how change can lead to renewal.
The day will be filled with free activities for all ages: enjoy live storytelling, test out instruments from a musical library, take part in bike and scooter races, try yoga by the loch, get creative with crafts, and more. Don’t forget to bake something tasty for the Climate Cake Table – your entry could win you a food voucher!
It’s also your chance to meet the everyday climate changemakers behind local community groups, discover practical support for your family, and explore ways to get involved.
