The Learn Photography full day course with Drew Cunningham and Grant Keelan is aimed at photography for beginners, amateurs and enthusiasts who want to learn the basic elements of photography.
The first half of the day will teach participants to take a better photo through creative compositional techniques and colour theory, whilst the second half of the day focuses on the more technical aspects of capturing a photo utilising the exposure triangle.
During the class you will have exclusive access to explore Fife Zoo, including VIP experiences of select animals with a Zoo Keeper:
Meerkats
Lemurs
Tortoises
Armadillos
African birds
Zebras
What you need to know:
- All participants are encouraged to bring their own camera (ideally an SLR), the minimum requirement is a phone camera with pro settings (iso / aperture / shutter speed)
- The Africafé is available at Fife Zoo for Lunch, but you are welcome to bring food and drink with you
- The classes are suited to anyone 16 and older
- Small classes of 10 max guarantee a decent amount of time with the animals
- Appropriate clothing is essential, make sure you have a jacket and the correct shoes in case the weather takes a turn. There are indoor and outdoor enclosures so classes will go ahead whatever the weather.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
