Elizabeth McMann and Sheila Gaul bring their iconic talk of Remember the Accused Witches of Scotland to Markinch Heritage Group on the 6th February. However, there is a twist to the talk as we are taking a diversion, via Markinch, to learn of deeds closer to home.
Our speakers have worked tirelessly to bring the story of a dark period in Scotland's history into the open and it will be an interesting and informative night. To offset the darker side of the evening- tea, coffee and themed home baking will be available. If that is not enough our raffle, where the prizes touch each end of the sublime to ridiculous spectrum, will be in evidence.
While the subject may be uncomfortable to 21st century eyes and ears it is a well produced and delivered talk. All are most welcome on the night.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
