For our 2nd Langtoun Jazz Proms event we are delighted to be collaborating with 5 community vocal groups who will take on tunes that are not normally in their repertoire!
About Langtoun Jazz Proms Vocal Concert
5 community vocal groups take on tunes that are not normally in their repertoire!
The Songburds, Kirkcaldy Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Kirkcaldy Choral Union, Ensemble & Fife Opera will perform a short set each of jazz tunes or classical with a jazzy twist and then all will come together to perform Bob Chilcott's A Little Jazz Mass under the direction of Richard Michael.
Groups will benefit from ticket sales to carry on bringing live music to Kirkcaldy on a regular basis so we hope to fill Kirkcaldy Old Kirk.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
