About Festive Fairies Needle Felting Evening Workshop
Join us in the cozy craft studio, for a magical evening amidst twinkling lights and soothing Christmas tunes to create your own gorgeous festive needle felted fairy. These beautiful 3d figurines are a prefect handmade gift for a special occasion or for your tree.
In this fun, festive and relaxed workshop, suitable for beginners, you will be taught all the elements of figurine needle felting. You will be introduced to the tools required and their specific uses, including needle structure, gauges and felt types and when to use each.
We will then work though the process of creating the base armature, which we will secure using precision felting and then move on to flat felting to create a whimsical dress to bring your festive fairies personality to life, before working through the process of combining the elements using our needle felting skills to sculpt our base figurine.
We will complete your beautiful creation using the tips and tricks to adding hair, wings and embellishments. There will also be opportunity to add a range of trinkets for additional details such as flowers, beads & charms.
Your special piece of handmade felt art will then be ready to take away on the night, along with the skills to continue felting your own collection.
All materials and tuition are included, along with lovely selection of warming hot chocolate, mulled fruit drinks, tea, coffee and festive cakes.

Suitable for ages 14 and over - under 16 must be accompanied by and adult.
