Unleash your creativity with our Wet Felting Workshop in the creative studio and join us for a fabulous afternoon of wet soapy felty layering, flopping, shaping fun as we create some gorgeous colorful vases and pod like vessels.
You'll receive an introduction to the joys of wet felting and learn how to add fun colourful fibres to create wonderful designs on your vase or vessel. The finished piece will make an eye-catching piece of natural art and can be used as a vase cover, utensil storage, a basket or as a piece of art. Theme it with your colour scheme for a fabulous handmade piece of home decor!
We will work through the process of felting over a resist and you will learn about the process of creating a template, layering, felting, shrinkage, fulling and finally shaping your vessel.
This workshop is lots of fun and is suitable for beginners and anyone interested in learning more about the art of wet felting.
There will be a short break during the class for some lovely tea, coffee and cakes too
- over 14's welcome with an adult
