About Mini Quilting Workshop

• Dig into Eilidh’s personal fabric stash, pile of reused textiles or bring some special fabrics of your own to work with.
• Create your quilt top using hand stitches piecing or appliqué.
• Learn how we can create quilts using exclusively reused fabrics
• Learn how to stitch your layers together to create stability, texture and interest.
• Learn how to bind and finish your quilt so it is ready to hang or use.

About the instructor

Eilidh Weir is a multidisciplinary artist and mending enthusiast. She has a strong DIY ethic, always collecting materials and learning techniques of making.. Everything that passes through their home is fair game for repairing, you’ll struggle to find a sock that hasn’t been patched or darned.
