Anyone can speak confidently in public. Especially you. The ability just needs to be unlocked. So come along to this practical workshop on 18th June at the Enterprise Hub Fife in Glenrothes.
About Public Speaking for the Terrified
What to expect from this event:
In business, you often need to make a presentation or a speech. Have you ever looked at the person on the stage, with the microphone, and wondered how they do it? Don’t they suffer panic attacks, a dry mouth, a tongue that suddenly has a mind of its own?
During this practical workshop, we will learn about:
* The power of preparation – how to do it and how much
* Exercises to build confidence
* The comfort zone
* Equipment and tools
* Myth busting: alcohol and picturing the audience naked
* The power of the pause
We will finish off with a voluntary short practice session for participants in the safe space of the workshop and you’ll leave with a new confidence about public speaking.
