Open Studios North Fife
A record 95 artists in North Fife are opening their studios to the public to celebrate 20 years of Open Studios in Fife.
About Open Studios North Fife
From potters and painters, weavers and woodworkers, jewellers and metal work, there is a wide variety of highly skilled friendly artists and makers to meet and chat to over the three days.
Exhibitions, demonstrations and workshops make it a fun-packed weekend to explore and enjoy over 30 locations in this part of Fife, from St Andrews to Newport-on-Tay to Falkland.
The new headline sponsor - Newburgh's Lindores Abbey Distillery - is hosting a special charity exhibition of small original artworks donated by the artists to raise funds for STAR, a Scottish charity which reunites siblings separated in the care system. Open 10-am-4pm 27 April-7 May. (closed 3 May). Plus special exhibitions in Maisie & Mac, Cupar and Foursticks Gallery, Falkland.
Some artists are holding workshops in Cupar, Newburgh and Wormit before and after the main weekend including watercolour painting, rug-making, working with native wool, painting on glass and seaweed papermaking. These are not free and need to be booked though the artist.
