Written, composed and staged by University of St Andrews’ students, this new fantasy musical tells the story of human girl Calanthe who, when forced to marry, runs away to the mythical castle of the god Nerakhis. There she meets his daughter Alea where their love shakes the foundations of creation and ignites a cosmic conflict.
Running time: 2h 30m (including interval)
Age Guidance: 10+ due to references to violence, sexual abuse, death, homophobic statements and distressing scenes.
There is also use of haze effect, sensitive content: portrayal of forced marriage, discriminatory language.
