The School of Geography & Sustainable Development
Climate activism frequently involves a focus on the negative; with dire climate news constantly in the media and a discouraging lack of action from government bodies, it becomes easy to focus on what we are trying to prevent rather than the world we hope to build.
In this workshop, we are flipping the script. Participants will be invited to exercise their creativity and create a 'postcard from the future', imagining a positive future of their choice through the mediums of drawing and writing.
The workshop will also feature discussion at the beginning and end, where participants can share their visions for the future and be inspired by other participants' ideas.
Overall, the workshop will be a space to cultivate hope and imagine a better world- one which inspires us to fight for it.
Venue: Boiler House, St Andrews Botanic Garden
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
