We’re so excited to launch our brand-new Wild Oaks group – starting on Halloween, Friday 31st October, 10:30–12:00!
Wild Oaks is a weekly outdoor learning and play session for children aged 0–11. Younger children enjoy nature through play and discovery, while older children have the chance to develop responsibility and leadership by supporting the younger ones – becoming “nature mentors” and role models. This mix of ages helps to build teamwork, confidence, and community spirit in a fun, inclusive way.
These sessions are perfect for families taking part in home education and flexible schooling on Fridays - giving them the chance to learn and explore together!
For our very first session, we’ll be celebrating Halloween in the Garden – with seasonal crafts and nature play inspired by autumn magic. Costumes welcome (but outdoor-friendly, please!).
Each session costs £6 per adult - this includes admission to the session with one child, plus a hot drink to enjoy during it - additional siblings will cost £3.50. Please ensure that all adults in your family who are attending the session have bought a ticket.
Please note that tickets for our learning groups are non-transferable and non-refundable, except for in the rare instance that St Andrews Botanic Garden must cancel the session. If this occurs, in the first instance, we will transfer tickets to a future Little Oaks session.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
