Join us for an evening walk, discovering the bats that live around Town Loch and the Country Park, and learning more about these fascinating creatures. A ‘bat detector’ device will enable us to listen in on their world. Led by Tony Wilson, local naturalist.
The 2-mile (max) walk will take around 2 hours, and be on mainly flat surfaces: tarmac, pavement and path. Suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied).
No dogs on this walk, please.
Additional Information
Please note that this walk is weather-dependent. In the event of forecast adverse weather, Greener Kirkcaldy staff will decide whether to go ahead with the walk the day before. We will contact attendees via phone, email and any cancellation will be also posted on Facebook if the walk cannot go ahead.

Please wear appropriate clothes for the weather, and wear sensible walking shoes. Please bring your own water and snacks.
Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs please.

Accessibility information
The route is suitable for pushchairs and can be adapted to be suitable for wheelchairs.
There is parking available at the venue.
