Have a tour of the different composting methods used at Ravenscraig Walled Garden, explore the science of decomposition and discover how to create clean, nutritious compost that is rich in biodiversity and has a multitude of benefits for the garden and the wider environment.
Leave with everything you need to begin composting at home – information, support, and your very own food waste caddy and a 220L garden compost bin!
Please register if you would like to take composting equipment home with you. Registration is optional if you don’t need equipment and just want to come for the workshop.
This event is free thanks to FCCAN and the Fife Climate Festival! Donations to the ongoing development of the Fife Seed Library are welcome.
Accessibility
There are accessible parking spaces on site. Please note the terrain is mostly flat and the paths are gravel. The venue is outdoors with the exception of the working cabin. There is an accessible toilet on site.
