We are delighted to welcome to our Merchant's Room Community Art Gallery for the first time, Nick Domminney with works from his 'Futures 3' collection.
Raised in Largo, Nick has generations-long links to Crail. His ‘Futures’ series evoke sea levels and the horizontal line where sky and sea meet, rendered appropriately in watercolour. He has previously exhibited in Glasgow.
LANDSCAPES by Stéphane Abbt, Nick’s brother-in-law, who first came to the East Neuk over 40 years ago with Catriona, Nick's sister. He instantly fell for the place, it’s people, the wildlife, the sea and coastline. They are the inspiration for the pen and watercolour works shown here. Painted in-situ or completed from sketches and photographs done during his many visits to Fife, some are reworked once back home in Geneva (Switzerland). This selection showcases a small selection of his varied work. This is his first exhibition in Scotland.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
