Starting Saturday July 26 and ending late August you’re invited to join me at Lindor Open Workshop celebrating the mighty Sitka spruce.
We’ll be investigating the creative potential of stripped fresh bark and roots, immersed in the sumptuous odours of the inner tree. Essentially we’ll be exploring containment and basketry.
Very informal, £40 on the gate but please reserve by confirming to me by text message, DM or email.
You can book the entire day as an individual, family or friendship unit. Sharing food, the firepit will be lit all day. Lochan nearby for swims, camping and Wee Yurt overnight hire.
These workshops will be a practical exposition of some of the wisdom contained in that beautiful book, Braiding Sweetgrass, whereby working with moon and seasonal cycles helps give us balance.
Lindor Forest is some twenty minutes from roadside parking, a beautiful woodland with wide ranging views. If windy forecast your stay will need to be postponed.

Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
