Come join Rebecca from Blackbird & Bloom Embroidery for a creative half day in the wonderful Abbot House! In this workshop, you'll learn a range of embroidery techniques and apply them to one of Rebecca's floral designs.
This workshop is the perfect introduction to floral embroidery. You will learn a variety of stitch techniques that create lovely flowers, petals, leaves and stems to create one of Rebecca's floral designs. During this relaxing 4 hour workshop, you will be introduced to a range of hand embroidery techniques. You will start work on a project, and be given the materials and instructions to complete this in your own time at home.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced stitchers alike. If you are a beginner, you will be guided through each stitch, how to thread your needle and load your hoop with fabric. Embroidery is a calming, mindful practice, and so this workshop will be relaxed and informal.
No experience necessary. All materials will be provided, just bring yourself and your creativity! Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn a new skill and meet fellow craft enthusiasts.
Due to the hands-on approach of this workshop, tickets will be limited.

*The venue is not wheelchair accessible. The class will be run in Abbot House's Flight Room and is up a flight of stairs.
*No parking available on site, however paid parking is available nearby in various locations.
