After their mother commits suicide, two sisters end up living with their kind but peculiar aunt in their grandmother’s old house in a small 1950s town, this comedy-drama.
About Housekeeping (PG)
Based on Marilynne Robinson’s 1980 novel Housekeeping, and set in Pacific Northwest, 1955. Two young sisters end up living with their eccentric, free-spirited Aunt Sylvie. When the townspeople decide that Sylvie must clean up her act, it seems her fantasy world must end.
