It’s 1979. Did the wean want a chopper for Xmas? Or did mammy fancy a new outfit from What Every Woman Wants. The sad reality was what every woman needed and that was Oor Margaret, The ProvyWummin.

The Provident Woman would knock on doors on a Friday offering families a wee loan to make ends meet and for most wives & mothers-that came at a price. Join Oor Margaret as she introduces you to the neighbours and takes you behind closed doors and opens up their lives as wives…and a whole lot of shenanigans when they’ve had a wee sherry. The cost of living and the cost of loving, with interest! The smash hit musical comedy has had them rolling in the aisles across Scotland…set to a backdrop of big 70’s hits.
