About Cascade Hometown Gig!
Cascade are a five piece post-Britpop band from Fife, Scotland shaking up the indie scene blending anthemic choruses with gritty jangling guitars, no-nonsense vocal melodies that are built to be shouted in unison.
Raised on choruses that never quit and verses with a lyrical bite that actually say something, they bring the swagger and energy without the ego and nostalgia without the imitation and a sound that is steeped in tradition { without name-dropping you know who } but cut with a fresh edge.
Cascade write songs that echo the golden age of British guitar music - loud, honest sun kissed melodies straight from the heart. With working class roots and stadium sized ambition they’re not here to reinvent the wheel — just to make it spin faster!.
Cascade are a timely reminder that rock-n-roll isn’t dead—its just been re-tuned, re-strung and ready to go again.
