Throughout March, every Saturday morning, the Lochgelly Centre—home to the OnFife Musical Instrument Library—will come alive with the vibrant sound of music, offering a free unique musical activity each week. Whether you’re a seasoned musician or a complete beginner, young or old, everyone is invited to join in the fun and explore the world of music.
March Music Madness coincides with the release of our upgraded online catalogue for the Musical Instrument Library based at Lochgelly Centre. We are part of the We Make Music Scotland initiative which aims to get musical instruments into public libraries across Scotland so you borrow an instrument for free, just like you would take out a book.
The Musical Instrument Catalogue will be live from March and instruments can be borrowed, using your OnFife Library Card, from April onwards.
Workshops from 8th-29th are FREE but places are limited so booking is advised
