Join Kiri Stone an Environmental scientist and countryside ranger to whittle your own creation around a fire in our woodland. Carve your very own wooden bird from silver birch using basic knife skills and a sprinkling of your own creativity under the guidance of Kiri. You will learn how to safely use various knives and hand tools and feel confident in beginner whittling.
Suitable for children ages 7 up, though must be accompanied and guided by a parent or guardian at all times (Space for only one accompanying adult)
Tea, coffee and a social chat available after at the Centre.
