ILLUYS IS KNOWN AS PART OF THE ICONIC DUO ILLYUS AND BARRIENTOS WHO ARE A HOUSE MUSIC DUO FROM GLASGOW, SCOTLAND.
Hailing from Scotland’s largest city, Illyus Has been blazing a trail in the Dance Music scene. A part of a pair with Barrientos they are consistently channel their varied influences into all of their records, consistently offering something truly unique with each record and performance.
With a collection of releases on labels such as Toolroom, Defected, and Armada, as well as remixes for the likes of Calvin Harris, Purple Disco Machine, Armand Van Helden, Sonny Fodera, Kylie Minogue, A-Trak, and Gorgon City, Illyus & Barrientos have established themselves as one of the most prolific and in-demand DJ-producer duos in the UK. They’ve performed at standout venues such as London’s iconic Printworks, CRSSD (USA), Ushuaia (Ibiza), and supported the likes of Calvin Harris, and Rudimental. Furthermore, they’ve already released a wealth of records of the years with their most notable single ‘Promise’ picking up overwhelming support and smashing it’s way through 6.5M+ streams to date. Furthermore, Illyus & Barrientos have graced the playlists of internationally recognised radio stations Kiss FM UK,Capital Dance and BBC Radio 1 as well as hosting a number of shows on Kiss FM UK.
BETH
Since stepping onto the scene, up and coming artist BETH has already taken the industry by storm. The Glasgow based DJ has already managed to cement herself as a regular feature in one of Glasgow’s leading venues SWG3 who has played alongside various artists like, Patrick Topping, SOSA, Eats Everything, Sam Divine, Kink to name a few. She has also played in key venues & festivals such as Cultivate, Jersey Weekender, FLY Open Air, Riverside, 93 Feet East & many more. She also managed to achieve to be amongst the top 20 DJ’s in the ‘Defected Unsung Heroes’ competition.
Production wise BETH is moving from strength to strength. Her debut release ‘Check It’ which came out on Under No Illusion was picked up by the BBC Radio 1 family Pete Tong, Danny Howard & Jaguar who made it her dance floor moment. Records on classic house label Nervous Records and Armada Music which has helped BETH gain more attention from her piers in rapid fashion. It’s no surprise that BETH’s profile has grown significantly so quickly. Her ability to add production to an already flourishing DJ career has helped BETH move from strength to strength with plenty more to come.
