In this fun, relaxed workshop, suitable for beginners, you will be taught all the elements of figurine needle felting. You will be introduced to the tools required and their specific uses, including needle structure, gauges and felt types and when to use each.
We will then work though the process of creating the base armature, which we will secure using precision felting and then move on to flat felting to create a whimsical dress to bring your festive fairies personality to life, before working through the process of combining the elements using our needle felting skills to sculpt our base figurine.
We will complete your beautiful fairy using the tips and tricks to adding hair, wings and embellishments. There will also be opportunity to add a range of trinkets for additional details such as flowers, beads & charms.
Your special handmade flower fairy will be ready to take away on the day, along with the skills to continue felting your own collection.
All materials and tuition are included, along with refreshments
