Yin Yoga Deep Dive consists of holding poses for a longer period of time, anywhere between 2 minutes and 10 minutes. This strengthens our deep and non stretchy tissues such as ligaments, tendons, and bones, whilst bringing awareness to our inner wellbeing and divine light. Ingrid weaves meditation, breathing, relaxation, philosophy, and mantra throughout the class creating a holistic journey for the body, mind, and spirit.
This class is suitable for anyone above 18, from beginner to advanced. Yin yoga is not suitable however, for anyone who suffers from major physical ailments. In that case a restorative class might be a better choice. If in doubt, please check with a medical professional if it is appropriate for you to practise yin yoga. Yoga is ideally practised on a (fairly) empty stomach. Please make sure you left enough time between meals and yoga - ideally 3 hours. A light snack such as a piece of fruit or a nutbar is absolutely fine at least 1 hour before practising.
Please bring a blanket, water, and make sure you wear enough layers to stay warm as the body cools down when holding poses. Mats, bolsters, straps, and blocks are available in the centre but if you have your own and prefer to use those please feel free to bring them.
Doors open at 10.55.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
