Walk the path of light on the longest night

About Walk the path of light on the longest night

Winter Solstice, on Sunday 21 December, is the longest night of the year. Walking a path of light, thinking about whatever you like in silence provides a welcome pause from all the noise and activity of the festive season.

A solar lit labyrinth brings light into the darkness and a reminder that the days now begin to get longer and the amount of daylight will increase again.

The path will be lit by solar fairy lights, so that the sunlight from the shortest day, lights a path for the longest night.

The event takes place in the Spanish Gardens on The Scores, St Andrews, from 4.30pm to 8.30 pm. All are welcome to visit and experience a silent, solar lit walk under the sky.

Location: Spanish Gardens, next to School of Economics & Finance, The Scores, St Andrews
