Traditional Knot Necklace
Returning to a childhood love of art, Sarah is a self taught textile maker and designer and has been selling her work under her business name Ragged House for the last 7 years. Sarah has run workshops locally and is involved in community projects with adults and children, teaching new skills, and providing a creative space. Re-using fabrics, yarns and recycled cotton she creates textile art, soft furnishings and a collection of rope jewellery that combine traditional techniques with a contemporary style.
In this class you will learn the multiple figure 8 knot, which when repeated creates a bow shaped necklace. Choose from an array of coloured rope and take home an accessory that fits you perfectly.
All materials will be provided by the tutor.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
