shapiro: A Pop Star Musical is a new musical based on the early life of UK singer Helen Shapiro. By age 15 in 1961 she had two No 1 singles selling 40,000 records a day and by age 16 had five TopTen hits and toured the UK with The Beatles as support. This premiere musical follows her from school days to the hit parade in an untold pop star musical story with six hit songs and six new originals. The show has a talented young Scottish cast from the award-winning Fife based Kingdom Theatre Company, you will be Walkin’ Back To Happiness.
Sinatra: The Final Curtain with sold out Fringe runs in 2013 and 2014 in association with Edinburgh based Atina Arts we present the 10th anniversary of this acclaimed original musical (‘Irresistable’, The Scotsman, ‘Bloomin’ fantastic’, Janice Forsyth, BBC Radio Scotland). Frank looks back in song and recollections from hospital and sees his younger self as he faces the final curtain. Commended in press and BBC radio we hear the songs of a generation with Moray Innes in his original role as Ol’ Blue Eyes will send shivers to the loyal fans and will thrill new devotees just discovering this timeless music.
