About Chess Challenge at the Museum

Listed Under Gaming Events

Museums can be quiet contemplative places, especially when they are closed! We give chess players a chance to experience it.

We invite all levels of chess players; Grand Masters to enthusiasts to join us for a match for an hour before the museum opens and then play for another hour as the visitors arrive.

The planning and brain power to execute your strategic advance is not much different from challenges solved by Andrew Carnegie's business brain as he grew his bridge building company during the American Industrial Revolution.

We are grateful to Dunfermline Chess Club who provide the chess pieces and support those attending.

Book your FREE place below or with an email to info@carnegiebirthplace.com and we will set you up for the match.
