Dates are Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th September 2024
With tranquil forests, historic castles, quaint fishing villages, beautiful beaches & cliff tops - this challenge has it all. We get together for the start on both days and meet up at various points over the weekend, but you will step into the role of navigator on this self-supported walk. There’ll be trails to stick to, and fellow walkers to join up with, but you’ll have to consult your maps which will be annotated and provided to navigate your way around. Whether you choose to walk alone or as part of a group, we will ensure you have an amazing experience!
All that we ask is that you raise vital funds in sponsorship to help brainstrust change the world for the brain tumour community. As well as the £10 registration for the 1 day challenge, you have a fundraising target of £200 and for the 2 day challenege the registration fee is £20 and your fundraising target is £500. Teams of up to 5 walkers can enter and their fundraising target is £1000. In return we will provide you with a brainstrust t-shirt, annotated maps, medal and dinner on the first night (medal and meal for the 2 day hikers only), as well as constant support from when you register, through to when you get to the finish line.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
