Exhibition – Lauren Morsley
Lauren Morsley is an Illustrator, Muralist and Printmaker based in Fife. She specialises in bold and colourful designs which create other worlds to explore.
About Exhibition – Lauren Morsley
Intriguing stories, places, and often people inspire her work. Alongside her commission work for various clients, including the British Council, The Body Shop, The Skinny Magazine, V&A Dundee, and Lush to name but a few, Lauren makes and sells prints and products, full of wiggly armed and long-legged characters.
The prints on show at the Community Gallery in Adam Smith Theatre are made using a technique called Risograph printing. Riso is an eco-friendly print process with a unique vibrant aesthetic which originated in Japan in the 1980s. The prints are a selection of Lauren’s printwork made between 2022-2023.
Lauren will also be joining us in the Design Suite for a Design Suite Talk on the 24th of April from 6-7pm and she will also be running a Mural Workshop on the 26th of April.
