Now comes the exciting prospect of Frankie’s ‘musical legacy’ being reinvigorated. Some of the UK’s finest musicians (all of who have recorded, toured and are long standing friends of Frankie) are determined to help to perpetuate the music of Frankie Miller and help it survive the test of time. That band are ‘Fullhouse’.
Ray Minhinnett has put a fantastic new line up together led by himself on guitar. Ray was the founder of Fullhouse in 1976 with Frankie Miller himself, and who has acted as Frankies’ MD for many years on both live and studio projects, including the latest ‘Double Take’ – Duets Album, released on Universal Records.
The band features a stunning singer, Gregor McGregor, who like Frankie himself, hails from Glasgow; Steve Browning (David Gilmour & Pretty Things) on bass; Ray Drury (Producers) on keys; and Clive Edwards (UFO) on drums.
Ray worked extensively in the Studio with the great man and after the original band ended, still carried on playing on many demos, which are now now classic songs including their biggest selling single from 1977 ‘Be Good To Yourself’ (penned by Free Bass Player Andy Fraser), The Rock, Love Letters. Fool In Love and Ain’t Got No Money. More recently, and live with the new ‘Fullhouse’ band: Guilty of the Crime, I’d Lie To You For Your Love, Jealousy, and Over The Line.
