At this event the wonderful Lindsay Grime will lead you through the full process of creating beautiful dry-point etching prints using Tetrapak bottles and a pasta roller, things you find about the house and in the recycling.
A fully sustainable art practice creating something cool from things you may have otherwise just thrown away!
This event is suitable for anyone over 10y/o as there is ink and sharp needles involved, anyone under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult.
What to Bring with you?
All the materials will be provided for you on the day, all you need is yourself, your imagination and failing that maybe something to draw to give you a bit of a nudge like a small bunch of flowers or a picture you like.
We will have some refreshments available including tea and coffee.
What do I get out of this?
A very special opportunity to be led by the excellent artist Lindsay Grime who is an exceptionally talented multidisciplinary artist. By the end of the session you will be a dab hand at dry-point etching and making prints from your recycled plates, you will all be able to take home your wonderful creations from the session and have the knowledge to create your own at home.
When is this happening and where?
This will be at the Ormus Gallery, 33 High Street, Aberdour, Fife KY3 0SH in the workshop.
The event will be running from 4pm - 6pm, April 6th please aim to arrive 10 minutes early to secure your seats and so we can do as much creating as possible!
