About Great British Spring Clean on Largo Bay
Friends of Largo Bay is a community group that organizes various activities, including art projects, educational events, and biodiversity monitoring. Our constant focus is also beach cleaning, which is crucial to maintaining the beauty of the area.
We invite all to join us in our upcoming event to clean up Largo Bay our beach cleans are a way to join in with something impactful and usually very fun !
Last year, we shifted approximately a massive 2 tonnes of detritus off the beach. No mean feat! Let's see what we can achieve together this time.
We have 5 muster points, so you can choose the most convenient to you or where you want to put in your efforts.
A: Silverburn car park
B: Lundin Golf Club car park
C: Temple car park
D: Dumbarnie Nature Reserve
E: Ruddons Point at Cocklemill Burn, arrived at through Elie Holiday Park.
Please email largobay@largocommunitiestogether.org.uk with your location of choice and the number of your party. We have a few litter pickers for younger volunteers - let us know if needed. All children are parents/guardians responsibility.
