Celebrating an incredible 70 years of top ten hits, this show pays tribute to one of the most iconic voices in music history and the legendary artists who shared his stage.
Barry Steele is widely recognised as the leading interpreter of Roy Orbison’s sound and style, endorsed by both fans and critics alike. With vocals so authentic, you’ll think you’re hearing The Big O himself, Steele takes audiences through a powerful setlist of Orbison’s greatest hits – from “Oh, Pretty Woman” to “Crying” and “Only the Lonely”.
But The Platinum Years goes beyond Roy. Backed by a sensational live band and stunning visuals, this show also honours Orbison’s collaborations with The Traveling Wilburys and his musical contemporaries like The Everly Brothers and George Harrison – bringing you the very best of a platinum era in music.
