Gut Health - Wellbeing Day

About Gut Health - Wellbeing Day

The morning class will be hosted by Rosy Rose, a qualified herbalist who will focus on herbs that support the gut and digestion, with some herb tasting, remedy making and a 5 herb tool kit to support gut health and simple remedies to use yourself.

We will explore the digestive system and microbiome, as well as common things that can go wrong, and herbal remedies to support digestive wellness. This will include the gut microbiome, probiotics, prebiotics and fermented foods and herbs.

There will be a break for lunch, where you can optionally purchase a special meal created by Baern Cafe that will include nutritious fresh ingredients designed to benefit your microbiome.

For the afternoon session we will be joined by Angrykulture who will be teaching you about fermenting vegetables to preserve them with added gut health benefits. You will learn how to make your own kimchi, the Korean superstar of fermented foods, which you will then take home in a special jar that you can use for all your future fermentation experiments.
