Connect with Sacred Sound

About Connect with Sacred Sound

Sound is an integral part of living and can be healing for body, mind, and spirit. Connect with the divine in you and everything through the sacred sounds of mantra and kirtan. It is going to be special!

Bhakti means love, devotion, or worship and bhakti yoga can be translated as 'the path of the heart' or 'path of loving devotion'. It is one of four classical paths of yoga, the others being Jnana yoga, Karma yoga, and Raja yoga. All of these lead to enlightenment or spiritual liberation and self-realization.

Maggie and Ingrid will lead you through several mantras and kirtan this evening, ending with a beautiful meditation. The mantra and meditation session is 75 minutes long followed by a cuppa and a chat.

Please bring water, something comfortable to sit on, and wear comfortable clothing. Feel free to bring an instrument so you can join in with the rhythm and a blanket to stay warm. We have a limited amount of chairs available, if you would like one please let us know.

It is £10 for the evening and there are 12 spaces available. If you prefer to pay through bank transfer (saves processing costs), please contact us or contact Ingrid or Maggie through social media. We know that these times can be tough financially. If you would love to join us but are facing financial challenges, please contact us. We aim to be as flexible as possible.

We are looking forward to sharing mantra and kirtan with you!
