Richard Jobson & Martin Metcalfe back in action in 2023
An amazing evening of "Songs & Stories" by two artists with over 110 years in the arts between them.
Apart from writing the worldwide number one chart song "The Saints Are Coming" Richard has directed 6 movies and hosted the Film Show for MTV. He has met the great the good (and the bad) in Hollywood and the music industry.
Martin has been around the block too and worked with the Talking Heads, written songs for Angelfish (Shirley Manson), The Skids, The Rezillos and others. He has supported the likes of Blondie, The Ramones & Stiff Little Fingers.
There will be also be an Q&A. No question is off limits (apart from that one about Richard Jobson & Pans People... and the one about "Rock Stars In Their Underpants").
Don't miss this amazing night of story & song.

In 1976 in a library in Dunfermline, a 15 year old Richard Jobson wrote a poem called ‘The Saints Are Coming’… In 1978 Scottish Punk pioneers The Skids had a top forty UK hit with this song. A long time later U2 & Green Day released it and it went to NUMBER ONE in12 charts around the world and also reached the TOP FORTY in 14 other world charts. Richard will be performing this & other songs acoustically with friend Martin Metcalfe in Lower Largo at the Aurrie on 08.10.23 at 5pm. He will also answer questions in a Q&A telling secrets of his amazing life in music & the Hollywood film industry.
