Calling all music lovers, and fun-seekers! The Fresh Ayr Folk Fest is hurtling into Ayr Town Centre from August 8th to 10th, 2025.
Imagine 3 days of Folk, World, and Roots music filling the air and raising the roofs, with over 30 top-notch artists from Scotland and beyond gracing the stage. Think foot-stomping fiddle tunes, soulful ballads, and infectious grooves that’ll have you dancing like nobody’s watching.
But wait, there’s more! The festival is packed with workshops where you can learn new tunes, swap stories with music lovers, and maybe even try your hand (or voice) at a new instrument. Get ready for lively sessions throughout each day —laughter, music, and craic guaranteed!
All events will be in the amazing Ayr Town Hall where a Weekend Pass will see you gain access to it all. In addition, the Cutty Sark Centre will host free sessions, Merchandise, our Box Office and refreshments.
So, whether you’re a die-hard folk fan or just looking for a fun weekend getaway, the Fresh Ayr Folk Fest is the place to be. Don’t miss out on this celebration of music and culture!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
