The Thrifted Stitch : A new studio class from designer Clarabella Christie.
The ethos behind the class is to use pre-loved fabrics and linens to make beautiful new things for your home. So many unwanted fabrics end up in landfill so this class is to make them into pieces with sustainability in mind, this is a beautiful slow way to hone your stitching skills and create unique pieces with soul. We will kick off the term with a fun morning of thrifting followed by a choice of exciting projects for the term.
Sewing machines, tunes and some materials are provided and of course tea and inspiration!
The class will take place in my very pretty design studio in Abbot House on the Maygate in Dunfermline. Each class will run for 2 hours and there will be six in a block. Thursdays 7pm till 9pm and will start on 2nd February and the cost of the class will be £130 for the term.
