The annual Coal Race originates from the stories that colliers in the late 1800's ran home from the pits with either bags of "rakers" or "clugs" in their bags.
Now Kelty is the home of the Scottish Coal Carrying Championships.
Entertainment and racing starts at 12 NOON.
Childrens races, Mascot races, Main Adults race, Live music and Inflatables, food and drink available from local suppliers. Including this year Scottish draughts Finals.
