The Platinum Jubilee Youth Spectacular is inspired by National Pride and is in celebration of this remarkable achievement by Her Majesty the Queen.
It will take place at Kelty in Fife on a newly constructed arena on the site of a former open cast mine.
It will also be a celebration of young people and a rare opportunity for them to display their extraordinary musical talents to the general public.
We will witness:
• The Massed Pipes and Drums form the Scottish Schools of over 100
• The musical skills of the Massed Army Cadet Force Brass and Woodwind Bands - 100 musicians from across the UK
• Young dancers from the Julie Young Dance School in Perth
• A Military Pipes and Drums and Highland Dancing display from Queen Victoria School Dunblane
• The Pantonic Steel Orchestra from Stockport
• The IMPS Youth MotorCycle Display Team
• Also featuring will be the Scouts, the Guides, the Boys Brigade, and the Police Cadets
• And of course, the Lone Piper, The Red Hot Chili Pipers and much more - - - -
All hosted by Stephen Mulhern
